SS and SL- Similarities?

Not a while back, I was thinking about my favourite pairings from various anime/manga series, and then it occured to me that there were some interesting similarities between the two males and females of both my favourite pairings--SasuSaku and ShinnLuna. Eventually, this lead to this being drawn out on my sketchbook.
