Hello everyone, and here are the latest updates and developments!

FANART

-Well, the final exams have been finally put behind (first year at uni is over!), and now I can go back to focus on what I like to do in my spare time: fanarts and fanfictions! So, first things first...

-Yes, the newest version of the deviantID will be out this year, as I actually haven't completely finished it yet...but when it does come out, it will definitely look different than what the last version brought along!

-As mentioned before, I will have my versions of both the Gundam SEED/Destiny and SEED/Destiny Character memes up by the next couple of weeks.

-And yes, there will be more sketches being put up in the coming weeks during the entire length of my break from university.

FANFICTION

-The second chapter of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Reflex will be out by the coming Wednesday.

-Furthermore, there will be a fifth lemony oneshot of The Lemon Stories that will be out very soon, and that a few more oneshots will be out afterward!

BATTLEFIELD 3

-The review on the Close Quarters and Armored Kill expansion packs will be out very soon enough, with the review on Aftermath and End Game to follow and conclude the series of reviews! I know, it actually took a while since the last review, and I'm sure by then the game's already about one-and-half-year old at this time of writing!

-Speaking about Battlefield, BF4 will come out, for sure, this October. According to several sources, leaks and inside reports have pointed out Battlefield 4's release date being October 29th--or 31st, of this year. It is also revealed that the "Commander mode" (previously featured in BF:2142), will make a comeback for this game. Battlelog 2.0 will also be featured in this game, but this time, on PS4 and the next-gen Xbox in addition to the PC. It is also reported that there will be no Co-op mode in BF4, which was previously featured on BF3, due to the game mode being poorly received. Battlefield 4 will be sold in both retail and "Digital Deluxe" versions on Origin, with those who pre-order either version of the copy to receive Battlefield Premium membership. This will include the highly-reported upcoming expansion pack for the game, entitled "Drone Strike".

OTHER NOTES

-So, just almost a week ago, the Toronto Maple Leafs have finally made the playoffs after 9 years of disappointment, by defeating the Ottawa Senators and having the Winnipeg Jets lose in the same day. Yeah, I'll admit that I do support the Leafs team as a fan, but I can't help but wonder what was going on the last time the Leafs made the Stanley Cup playoffs. Here we go...

The last time the Maple Leafs made the playoffs--which happened in 2004, things were going on during that year:

The Prime Minister of Canada was Paul Martin of the Liberal Party, and the President of the United States was George W. Bush of the Republican Party.
The war in Iraq and Afghanistan was still going on.
Gas prices were around 93 cents per litre on the Canadian average.
Facebook was founded, but was not as large of a social media network as it is seen these days.
Along with Facebook, Myspace also existed, but was not as large of a social media network as it was until much later.
YouTube and Twitter had yet to exist.
American Idol was the top-watched show on T.V.
On Canadian television, Corner Gas had already wrapped up its very first season.
In the world of anime, Gundam SEED (SEED Destiny would first air in the October of '04), InuYasha, and Full Metal Alchemist were popular at the time, along with Naruto as well.
The PlayStation 2 was the dominant gaming console at the time, with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City being the latest game in the GTA series (San Andreas would later be released in October).
And finally, I was in 4th grade when the Leafs last made the playoffs.

In addition to this, it had taken the Leafs three head coaches, two general managers, and another lockout (after the last one in '04-'05), just to return back to postseason hockey. I know, it took that much for the Leafs just to get back into the playoffs, but it can be worth the wait for some. Hopefully, the Leafs face the Habs in the first round, because the last time that happened, it was almost 35 years ago. Go Leafs Go!
